As the Hudson Valley goes deeper into quarantine, your local radio station is evolving and stepping up coverage of the coronavirus.

We're now dealing with a situation none of us ever thought we would see. Schools are closed, grocery stores are being cleaned out and more and more businesses are shutting down to help slow the spread of the virus.

Just like you, we are now living in this new reality in the Hudson Valley, and we know how important it is to stay informed and connected to our community. While this is still an evolving situation, we plan on broadcasting live throughout the duration.

We've made some precautions to ensure that we are keeping our listeners, coworkers and families safe during this time. We are limiting staff and closing off the building to anyone who is not an employee. Starting today we will no longer have live guests in the studio. But this doesn't mean that you still won't hear from important voices in our community. Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro will be with us over the phone on Monday morning, and we will continue to have community leaders and health experts keep us informed of the current situation and share information that's vital to our community.

Because this information is so important, we will also be simulcasting our newscasts on Facebook Live. You can head over to the WPDH Facebook page to watch and hear our live news updates at the top of the hour all morning long.

In addition, we know that social distancing can be a stressful time for many people, especially those who are home alone. We encourage you to pick up the phone and call us, send us a text on our mobile app or drop us a line on Facebook. The Boris & Robyn Show is here to keep you connected to the community. Please reach out and let us know how you're doing. We're here to listen and share your stories with the rest of the Hudson Valley.

Things are not the same, but we will get through this together.

Listen to the Boris & Robyn Show weekday mornings from 6AM to 10AM on 101.5 WPDH. Stream us live through the website, Alexa-enabled device, Google Home or the WPDH mobile app.
