You may see a familiar face, or perhaps hear a familiar voice, on tonight's episode of Law & Order: SVU.

A former Hudson Valley newsman is making his acting debut on the February 6 episode titled Redemption in Her Corner. Roger Clark served up the news on 101.5 WPDH two decades ago. Since then, he's gone on to report for NY1 out of New York City.

Clark's local-flavor news segments have gained a loyal following, including some big-name celebrities. The attention landed the newsman a small cameo in the HBO series, Crashing. During a 2017 episode, Clark could be seen briefly on a television screen that was playing through comedian Sarah Silverman's bathroom mirror.

While that appearance used recorded footage from an actual newscast, tonight's appearance marks Clark's official acting debut. Warren Leight, the showrunner for Law & Order: SVU announced on Twitter that Clark would appear on this week's episode.

In the tweet, Leight noted that Clark is a "money player." The executive producer joked that the former WPDH newsman "came in prepared, didn't demand special treatment and nailed it on every take."

Leight also hinted that Clark's came may not be the only surprise in tonight's episode. According to TV Guide, the story seems to be loosely based on the Harvey Weinstein trial.

When an actress accuses a high-powered media mogul of attempted rape, Benson finds herself in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse. Meanwhile, changes in the squadroom put Carisi between a rock and a hard place.

Law & Order: SVU airs tonight, February 6, at 10pm on NBC.
