A Hudson Valley Outback location is hosting a special four-course meal that will also benefit our veterans.

Outback Steakhouse on Route 9 in Wappingers Falls will be opening their doors on Sunday, June 9 from 11 to 1. Customers will be able to feast on a special four-course meal for just $27. The meal includes Outback's "famous wings" at every table, choice of salad, Chicken on the Barbie, Outback Special and Chicken, Salmon, a vegetarian option, freshly made sides and unlimited refills of soda or tea.

The best part of this special service is that $20 from each meal will go directly towards VetZero. The organization is spearheaded by Tom Zurhellen, who is currently walking across America to raise awareness and funds for our veterans. Tom is currently in Wyoming and is expected to hit the half-way point of his journey at the end of the month. Along the way, Zurhellen is spreading the word about veterans' issues and hoping to raise $40,387, which is also the average number of homeless veterans on the streets every night.

If you'd like to participate in the fundraiser, you must get your ticket in advance. For more details call Jennifer at (845) 242-4654 or (845) 473-5421. You can also read more details at the VetZero Facebook page.
