Another TAP New York Festival is in the books, and some local brewers came home with more than just a hangover this year.

The big winner this weekend, besides everyone in attendance that got their hands on corn dogs, was Newburgh Brewing Company. The highly acclaimed Orange County Brewery walked away with The Matthew Vassar Brewer's Cup, awarded to the best craft brewery in the Hudson Valley.

Newburgh Brewing also scored a gold medal for their Conspiracy Aged Imperial Stout and a bronze for their Purrfect Hefeweizen. More gold was handed out to Equilibrium Brewery. The Middletown beer makers grabbed the top honor for their Double IPA named Sexual Fluctuation.

Silver medals were given out to Hyde Park Brewing Company's Raspberry Wheat, Glenmere Brewing's Howlin' Rusty Helles Bock, Cousins Ale Works' Smoking Musket Stout, Blue Collar Brewery's Golden Strong Ale and Clemson Brothers' M-Town Sunset Sour Beer. Bronze medals were earned by Hudson Brewing Company, New Paltz Brewing, Sloop Brewing and King's Court Brewery in Poughkeepsie.

A full list of the 2019 winners can be found on the TAP New York website.
