Halloween Weekend Celebration at Opus 40
Have you ever been to Opus 40 in Ulster County? It's pretty amazing. It's actually an environmental piece of art sculpted by one man, Harvey Fite. This Sunday will be the perfect time to check it out. And make sure you bring the kids.
This Sunday, Oct. 27, Opus 40 on Fite Road in Saugerties will host a kid-friendly Halloween celebration from 1PM - 6PM. There will be plenty of fun activities for the kids including pumpkin carving at noon, puppet making at 1PM and scary stories around the fire pit at 3PM. Plus food trucks, local apples and cider and much more. And it's free with regular admission to the park.
So, if you've always wanted to visit Opus 40, pack up the kids and head there this Sunday for the big Halloween celebration. And don't forget to check out the beautiful fall foliage on the way. For more information, check out the event facebook page.
