If you're getting low on toilet paper, a local restaurant has your back(side).

As the coronavirus continues to force families into practicing social distancing, Hudson Valley shoppers have been hoarding toilet paper. Although this new reality does not increase anyone's need for bathroom tissue, people seem to think they need to stockpile cases of this necessary item.

As a result, people who didn't gobble up dozens of packages are now having a hard time finding any rolls in the stores. While some people have taken advantage of the shortage by charging exorbitant prices for single rolls, one restaurant is handing out this necessary item for free.

Mamma Musetti's in the Village of Wappingers Falls has just announced that they are "replenishing the Hudson Valley" by handing out free rolls of toilet paper with the purchase of a meal.

According to their Facebook page, the offer will start Wednesday and continue "while supplies last."

Mix N' Mac in Middletown held a similar promotion earlier this week. Many restaurants and businesses are coming up with creative ways to serve their customers in these unprecedented times. I'd say that this is one of the best ideas I've heard yet.
