Commander’s Carnevale at VFW Post 170
If you are a regular listener of The Boris and Robyn Show, you are familiar with Commander Tom. Commander Tom is a professor at Marist College and he's also a veteran who is very involved with helping other veterans. In fact, last summer he walked across the country to bring awareness to veteran's issues. And his mission continues.
This Saturday, Feb. 29, VFW Post 170 on Violet Avenue in Poughkeepsie will host the Commander's Carnevale from 5 - 9PM. There will be a karaoke challenge, a photo lounge, raffles and even a special performance from Caitlin Caporale from television's The Voice. Our veterans do so much for us and this is a fun way to give back.
Tickets are only $22 at the door and all proceeds will go to help area veterans. For more information about the Commander's Carnevale, or to find out more about VFW Post 170 and how you can help area veterans, check out their facebook page.
