
Severe Thunderstorm Watch For Parts of the Hudson Valley
The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm watch for parts of the Hudson Valley, Catskills, and Capitol Region Thursday night into early Friday morning. The watch is in effect until 2 a.m. The following counties are included:
ALBANY, BROOME, CHEMUNG, CHENANGO, COLUMBIA, CORTLAND, DELAWARE DUTCHESS, FULTON, GREENE, HAMILTON, HERKIMER, MADISON MONTGOMERY ONEIDA, ONONDAGA, OTSEGO, RENSSELAER, SARATOGA, SCHENECTADY, SCHOHARIE
SULLIVAN, TIOGA, TOMPKINS, ULSTER, WARREN, WASHINGTON
Strong storms and heavy rain are expected to move through the region late Thursday. A Wind Advisory remains in effect until 8 p.m. Friday. Wind gusts could approach 50 to 60 m.p.h. Friday.
