Second Annual Mother's Day Tea & Paint in Fishkill

What will you be doing for or with your mom on Mother's Day weekend? Maybe you're a mom and you want to do something special with your kids. Want a cool idea? How about painting and a spot of tea?

The Artist's Corner is hosting the Second Annual Mother's Day Tea and Paint on Saturday May 11, from 10 am - 4:30 pm at the Fishkill Recreation Center at 793 Route 52 in Fishkill. The day will be broken up into age groups. The first group will meet between 10 and 11 am. This session is for moms and children ages 3-4. Participants will paint a modified, age-appropriate painting on a single canvas. Elementary students and their moms will paint from 12 noon- 2 pm, and middle/high school students and their moms will paint from 2:30 pm -4:30 pm. The older groups will each paint on two canvases to create a painting that will span both canvases.

This event is open to all mothers, or care-takers, and their sons or daughters. Tea and cookies will be served. For more information, check out the event facebook page.
