They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. That may be true. On Sunday, Oct. 28, you can enjoy breakfast at The Most Important Meal fundraiser event to support Hudson Valley Community Services’ food and nutrition services. The event will be held at the Fishkill Recreation Center  at 793 Route 52 from 9:30 am - noon.

The Most Important Meal will have a casual, fun, family friendly atmosphere while helping to raise funds to help feed hungry people. Guests can enjoy an endless cereal buffet and fill up on the satisfaction that they have helped those in need.

Hudson Valley Community Services has the only food closet specifically for those living with chronic illnesses that will deliver bags of food, and it's also one of the few pantries that hand out toiletries and household cleansers, items that are very expensive or out of budget for clients.

Turns out breakfast is the most important meal. At least it is in this case. For more information about The Most Important Meal Oct. 28 in Fishkill, or to find out about Hudson Valley Community Service and their mission, visit their website.
