Police Investigate Shots Fired in City of Poughkeepsie
Late Wednesday morning 911 was flooded with reports of shots fired in the City of Poughkeepsie.
On Wednesday, at approximately 11:19 a.m. City of Poughkeepsie 911 received several reports of shots fired in the area of 82 Washington Street.
Responding officers located several shell casings in the middle of the road. As of this time, there are no victims.
Witnesses in the area reported they thought the shots came from a passing vehicle, but no one could give a description of the vehicle from which the shots were fired.
