Morning radio listeners may have noticed that a familiar voice has been missing from the airwaves.

If you've been a long-time listener of 101.5 WPDH, you're more than familiar with the friendly voice of Robyn Taylor. The Hudson Valley radio icon has been a Classic Rock DJ for decades, currently lending her bubbly personality and famous voice as half of the Boris & Robyn Show.

WPDH isn't quite the same without Robyn, but we've been doing our best to keep things going and make sure her microphone is ready for when she's ready to jump back in.

Why isn't Robyn Taylor on 101.5 WPDH?

Robyn has been absent from the show since the end of March, and although we've been updating listeners about Robyn's time off on the Boris & Robyn Show, we're still getting inundated with messages from her fans wondering if everything is ok.

While Robyn is a very private person, especially when it comes to medical issues, we can tell you that she's been having some health problems related to an episode that landed her in the emergency room back in 2023.

The good news is that Robyn is not in as bad of shape as she was back then and is being attended to by doctors. While we don't have an exact date, we expect Robyn to return to the show as soon as she has her energy back.

Until then, Robyn says she appreciates all of the well wishes and misses everyone as much as they miss her. We share everyone's hope for a speedy recovery for the Hudson Valley's favorite radio personality and can't wait to hear her voice again.
