A Wappingers man is facing multiple felonies after the courts granted a search warrant for the investigation.

On March 6, state police arrested Jared A. McLain, 32, of Wappingers. Wappinger Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Troop K Computer Crimes Unit led to the obtainment of a search warrant granted by the Dutchess County Supreme Court.

The search warrant resulted in the seizure of child pornography in the possession of McLain.  Illegal metal knuckles, and a baton were also found at the residence.

McLain was charged with four counts of possession of a sexual performance by a child, a Class E felony, and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon fouth-degree.

McLain was arraigned in the Town of Fishkill Court and remanded to Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail, or $10,000 secure bond.
