Ulster County Woman Attacks Man With Knife, Police Say
During the domestic dispute the woman also threw a vacuum into a television, as well as broke dishes.
On Monday, at approximately 5:30 p.m. Saugerties Police responded to 3081 Route 9w in Glasco for a violent domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim who had sustained a knife wound to his hand.
Officers established that during a heated argument between the victim and 19- year-old Alexandrea Adams. Adams began breaking dishes and household appliances, throwing a vacuum cleaner into a television set.
During the dispute, Adams picked a knife up and attempted to stab the victim, slicing his hand with the knife.
Adams, who was still present when officers arrived, was taken into custody. She was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal mischief and attempted assault.
Adams was arraigned in the Town of Saugerties Justice Court, being released on her own recognizance upon the court issuing an order of protection on behalf of the victim.
