The Last STARWALK on the Walkway Is Tomorrow Night
The last of the STARWALK series on the Walkway Over the Hudson will be tomorrow night, Sept. 7 from 7 - 9:30 pm. Each STARWALK is scheduled around unique occurrences in the celestial calendar. The subject tomorrow is Distant Realms: Neptune and Andromeda.
Accomplished NASA astronaut COL R. Shane Kimbrough is the featured guest at tomorrow's STARWALK event. Astronaut Kimbrough will be greeting attendees at Ulster Welcome Center at 7 pm, and then move east across the Walkway. There will be guided discussions, activities for both children and adults, music, performers, food vendors, and cool Walkway souvenirs.
STARWALk will be held even if it's cloudy, and lighting will be limited, so bring a flashlight. While tickets for this event are free, you can register right here. All registrants will receive an exclusive glow in the dark STARWALK wristband while supplies last. For the safety of all, bicycles, rollerblades, and skateboards are not permitted for this event.
