Police Searching For Suspects Who Released Bed Bugs at Pennsylvania Walmart
Was this someone's idea of a joke? WENY is reporting that Pennsylvania state police are lookin for the person(s) who released bed bugs in a men's changing room in Washington Township.
Police say a manager found a pill bottle in a jacket for sale with the insects inside this past Thursday. An employee from the lab that tested the bugs found more crawling around the store's dressing room. WENY says a second bottle full of bugs was found Friday near where the store sells belt's for men.
While the bugs do not transmit disease, their bites can cause allergic reaction and are generally regarded as disgusting. Some people will go to great lengths to eliminate the pests from their homes, such as this New York state woman from March 2019.
