The legendary Don McLean is coming to Orange County!

Orange Motorsports & Entertainment is pleased to announce the legendary singer behind the hit tune “American Pie” Don McLean will perform at Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center on Saturday, February 29th, 2020 at 8 pm.

In addition to “American Pie,” McLean is also known for “Vincent (Starry Starry Night)”, “Crying”, “And I Love You So”, and “Castles in the Air”. He first began hitting the charts in 1971 and has accumulated over 40 gold and platinum records worldwide. He was inducted into the Songwriters’ Hall of Fame in 2004.

Reserved seating tickets are on sale to the general public now at www.omeevents.com or www.Ticketmaster.com. Tickets are $77.40 and $87.70.

A New York native, Don McLean has established himself as one of the most revered and respected songwriters in American history, having influenced such artists like Garth Brooks and Ed Sheeran, who cite Don McLean’s songwriting as the finest in the art form. Over the years, his songs have been sung and recorded by the likes of Elvis Presley, Garth Brooks, Madonna, Fred Astaire, George Michael, and Ed Sheeran.
