Corey Ingram Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser
The 2nd Annual Corey Ingram Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser is coming up tomorrow, April 12, from 6 - 9 pm at Mahoney's Irish Pub and Steakhouse at 35 Main Street in Poughkeepsie. It's going to be a fun night for a good cause, and it's a great way to kick off the weekend.
In August of 2017, 28 year old U.S. Navy technician Corey Ingram was killed after the ship in which he was traveling, the USS John McCain, collided with a 600-pound tanker off the coast of Malaysia. Corey was a City of Poughkeepsie resident who was dedicated to his family, his community, and his country. A scholarship fund was started in Corey's name to honor him and help keep his memory alive. The scholarship is awarded to Poughkeepsie High School Seniors.
Tomorrow's fundraiser is only a $20 donation per person and includes your first drink and a raffle ticket. Plus, there will be live music from The Bernie and Mike Band. For more information, visit the Mahoney's facebook page.
Listen to the Boris & Robyn Show weekday mornings from 6AM to 10AM on 101.5 WPDH through your WPDH mobile app. Connect with WPDH on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
