Annual Wind Chill Fund Dinner To Help the Homeless
Hudson River Housing will host the 13th Annual Wind Chill Fund Dinner on Friday, Nov. 1 from 5PM - 9PM to help raise funds and awareness in support of programs for the homeless.
The Boris and Robyn Show's very own Commander Tom Zerhellan will be the star of the evening as the Keynote Speaker. Tom is the Commander at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 170 in Poughkeepsie and the founder of the VetZero Project. As Associate Professor of English at Marist College, Tommy chose to use his sabbatical crossing the country in service to veterans.
Tom will share images and stories from his summer journey which began in Portland, Oregon and ended in Poughkeepsie as he walked 2,860 miles across America to raise awareness of veteran homelessness. You can hear Tom every Wednesday at 8:45AM on WPDH.
