The New York Yankees' slim hope for an American League wild car berth remained alive Monday night, after a wild game in Toronto.

Monday's game had two bench clearing incidents that lead to the ejections of Yankees pitcher Luis Severino, as well as Rob Thomson, Larry Rothschild, and even manger Joe Giradi.

Severino had accidenlty hit Toronto's Josh Donaldson which resulted in the Blue Jays' J.A. Happ to retaliate, by first throwing behind Chase Headley, and then hitting him.

After both teams took to the field for quite a stare down, Severino returned the favor in the second and threw behind Justin Smoak.

Then, he hit him.

Once the fighting was done, the Yankees did come from behind to break their four game losing streak and beat the Blue Jays 7-5.

Mark Teixeira hit a home run in the ninth inning off of Toronto's Jason Grilli. Tex even gave Grilli a flip of the bat for good measure to let him know he had blown the save.

The, it was Aaron Hicks' turn as he connected for a two run home run.

The Yankees play at home Tuesday night against the Boston Red Sox.
