Vails Gate F.D. Candy Cane Food Drive 2019

There is no doubt that the residents of the Hudson Valley are generous and charitable. We witness that every time we do a fundraiser here at the radio station. And if you're in the giving mood and would like to help out the community, here's another opportunity for you.

This Saturday, Dec. 21, from 10AM - 2PM, the Vails Gate Fire Department will once again be escorting Santa Claus on his annual tour of the district and handing out candy canes to children and collecting canned and non-perishable food items to benefit the Town of New Windsor Food Pantry.

The food pantry is in desperate need of assistance, as many local families are in need of help. Last year the food pantry was able to assist numerous local families. Any donations will be greatly appreciated.

Santa will be starting out around 10AM and will appear at various locations in the district throughout the day. Rain date is Dec. 22. For the route and more information, visit the event facebook page.
