Police: Traffic Stop Results in Discovery of Crack Cocaine
Police stopped the vehicle after it failed to stop at a red light.
On Saturday, at approximately 8:33 p.m. Saugerties Police conducted a vehicle stop on a vehicle that failed to stop for a red light on Route 22 at McDonald's.
Following an investigation, the operator of the vehicle, Korinne H. Lamb, 35, of Highland was found to operating the vehicle under the influence of drugs.
A search of Lamb's vehicle, resulted in the discovery of a quantity of crack cocaine. Lamb was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance seventh-degree, DWAI Drugs, DWI, and other traffic violations.
Lamb was arraigned in the Town of Saugerties Court and remanded to Ulster County Jail in lieu of $7,500 cash bail or $15,000 bond.
Lamb is scheduled to reappear in court this week.
