Police Investigate Apparent Murder-Suicide in Orange County

On Friday morning police were called to an Orange County residence, and discovered to people deceased at the home.

At approximately 8:40 p.m. State Police were called to a home on Knox Road in Highland Falls.

When troopers arrived on the scene, they located two people deceased at the home. A preliminary investigation indicates that 41-year-old Mario L. Vanzetta, killed 41-year old Stephanie Vanzette before taking his own life.

Autopsies will be completed to determine the cause of death. More information will be realesd when it becomes made available.
