Police: 4 Stole $40,000 Worth of iPhones From Hudson Valley Store
Four men are accused of stealing over $40,000 worth of iPhones from a Hudson Valley store.
On Saturday around 5:45 a.m., Port Jervis police arrested 29-year-old Darick Sylvan of Brentwood, 36-year-old Lourriston Potter of Port Jervis, 31-year-old Donald Potter of Medford and 28-year-old Peter Tansey of Port Jervis after police investigated reports of suspicious activity occurring on Brown Street.
Officers recovered cocaine, marijuana and over $40,000 worth of new iPhones which were reported stolen from a Town of Wallkill Sprint store, police say.
Police also allegedly found tools and equipment that were connected to the Wallkill burglary and a burglary at a Pennsylvania Verizon.
Lourriston Potter, Slyvan and Donald Potter were charged with criminal possession of stolen property, a felony, possession of burglar tools, criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of marijuana, misdemeanors. Lourriston Potter and Tansey were charged with tampering with physical evidence, a felony.
All four were remanded to Orange County Jail.
