Wild New Metallica Pinball Machine Debuts at Hudson Valley Bar

A newly upgraded version of the classic Metallica pinball machine has just landed at a popular Hudson Valley bar.

And for fans of rock and roll and pinball, this is a big deal.

Metallica Pinball Machine Gets Major Upgrade

The Metallica pinball machine first debuted in 2013 and quickly became one of the most popular games on the market.

In 2024, Stern Pinball released Metallica Remastered, an upgraded version packed with new features.

The remaster adds new lighting effects that react to the music, updated artwork, modern electronics, and a full-color LCD screen with animations and concert footage from the band. The game also includes additional Metallica songs and more than 1,000 voice callouts from the band during gameplay.

There are also new physical features on the playfield, including updated sculptures, glowing skulls and dramatic lighting effects that turn the machine into a full concert-style experience while you play.

Where to Find Metallica Remastered Pinball in the Hudson Valley

The new version of Metallica's Pinball machine is making its debut this week at Happy Valley Arcade Bar in Beacon, New York. In a post to social media on Sunday, the owners of Happy Valley wrote, "We just installed Metallica Remastered by Stern Pinball and it’s sooooo sick!!"

Happy Valley Arcade Bar features a huge collection of classic pinball and arcade games that patrons can play while enjoying craft beer, wine, cocktails and a selection of comfort food.

Metallica Remastered is now up and running at Happy Valley on Main Street in Beacon. Check out their website for operating hours.
