Rides, Attractions Free for New Windsor Community Day’s 10th Anniversary
I'll be back on my old stomping grounds in New Windsor this Saturday for New Windsor Community Day. I'm pretty excited about it because I grew up in New Windsor, so I'm hoping to run into some old friends, and maybe make some new ones.
There is actually a lot to be excited about. This year marks the 10th annual New Windsor Community Day, and in celebration, this year's attractions are free. Those attractions include escape rooms, a rock climbing wall, animal exhibits, a full-size carousel, a giant slide, bounce houses, petting zoo, live music and much more. There will be plenty of vendors too, including a beer and wine tent. This is going to be a great day to celebrate a great community.
New Windsor Community Day is this Saturday, Aug. 25 from 10 am - 9 pm at Kristi Babcock Memorial Park, 660 Mt. Airy Road. I'll be there with WPDH from 10 am - noon. For a list of attractions, vendors, live music, and other general information, check out the Town of New Windsor Community Day website.
