Two men have been charged following the passing of contraband at the Dutchess County Jail.

On June, 15, 2018, Jeremy M. Craft was an inmate at Dutchess County Jail and was visited by Matthew S. Moore, 34, of Pine Plains. Moore allegedly passed a controlled substance to Craft.

At this time, Moore has been charged with Promoting Prison Contraband first-degree, and Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance fifth-degree, both felonies.

Craft was charged with Promoting Prison Contraband second-degree, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance seventh-degree.

Moore was arraigned in the City of Poughkeepsie Court and remanded to Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.

Craft was released with an appearance ticket.
