Hudson Valley’s Favorite Italian Restaurant Now Up For Sale
A family with 100 years of hospitality tradition in the Hudson Valley is selling a beloved local landmark.
Berardi Realty currently has an online listing for a 16,000-square foot Italian restaurant that's being offered for $2.5 million. The "investment opportunity" turns out to be one of the area's favorite places for small gatherings and celebrations.
Frank Guido's Little Italy has been a staple in the Hudson Valley since it opened on Broadway in Kingston in 2007. Known for its traditional Italian dishes and friendly waitstaff, Little Italy has been a favorite spot for family dinners and special events for almost two decades. Just around the corner from UPAC, Little Italy is also a popular place to dine before catching a show.
According to the restaurant's website, the Guido Family has been a part of the East Kingston neighborhood for over 100 years. Frank and his wife, Gail, their son, Mark, cousin, Sal, and son-in-law Carmine have all been a part of the restaurant's success in Kingston.
The sale includes the restaurant and the connected Bella Piazza catering and dining area, complete with outdoor seating. There are also four apartments above the two-floor restaurant.
In addition to Little Italy, the Guido Restaurant Group operates The Front Street Tavern and Mariner's Harbor in Kingston as well as Frank Guido's Port of Call in Catskill. It's unclear if any of those locations are also being considered for potential future sale.
According to the listing for Little Italy, buyers will have the opportunity to obtain the business, so even if sold, it's possible that Little Italy will continue to stay open. Stay tuned for more updates.
