A local village was transformed into a set for an upcoming candy commercial.

Right now there are several major motion pictures being produced in the Hudson Valley. Bill Murray, Selena Gomez and Adam Driver have been working on a comedy zombie film called The Dead Don't Die. Filming has been taking place in Elizaville, Lake Taghanik and other Columbia County locations over the summer.

In Newburgh, actor David Arquette has been hard at work on a mobster film titled Apalachin The movie tells the story of a famed meeting of the heads of the mafia in 1957

On Wednesday a smaller production closed down some of the Village of Warwick in Orange County  Railroad Avenue between South Street and Main Street was closed off from 8am to 11pm for the filming of a commercial for Crunch Candy Bar.

In a message to residents and business owners from RadicalMedia, the production company explained they received a permit from the Village of Warwick to film the Crunch Candy Bar commercial. They asked permission to reroute pedestrians and vehicles from the area while filming was taking place.

It's unclear when the candy bar ad will air, but be on the lookout for some familiar landmarks the next time your favorite show goes to a commercial break.
