Hudson Valley Day Care Assistant Teacher Admits to Molesting 4-year-old

A former Hudson Valley Day Care assistant teacher pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 4-year-old at the day care center where he worked.

Isaac McKnight, 24, of New Rochelle pleaded guilty in Westchester County Court to one count of 1st-degree criminal sexual act, a class B violent felony.

According to the Westchester District Attorney’s Office, McKnight was working as a part-time assistant teacher at a day care center in Tuckahoe when he sexually assaulted a 4-year-old at the center on November 5, 2015.

A joint investigation by the Village of Tuckahoe police and the Westchester County District Attorney's Office resulted in McKnight's arrest on Nov. 12, 2015.
McKnight remains at the Westchester County Jail. He is scheduled to be sentenced on April 26.
