The 72nd Tony Awards took place last night to celebrate the year in theater, and one of the biggest shows in attendance was Disney's Frozen, based on the 2013 movie. While it didn't walk away with any awards, it did end up with one of the most talked-about performances of the night.

Each show nominated in the Best Musical category performed a short segment of their show. Frozen did shortened versions of two songs, beginning with "For The First Time In Forever," and seguing into "Let It Go."

"For The First Time In Forever" was performed by Patti Murin, who plays Anna in the show. Murin grew up in Hopewell Junction and graduated from John Jay High School, and she has a long history of playing Disney princesses (she also played Belle in Beauty and the Beast and Ariel in The Little Mermaid). Frozen on Broadway is her biggest show to date, and the performance at the Tonys was a great showcase for her talents. You can watch it on CBS's Youtube channel right here.
