First Ride On The Walkway Elevator [Video]

Grab a sneak-peek and take a virtual ride on the brand new glass elevator to the Walkway Over The Hudson.

This $2.8 million elevator rises more than 20 stories above the Hudson River in just over a minute.  Although there's only two stops, Walkway pedestrians will be assisted by attendants during the hours the walkway is open.

The elevator is now officially open can be accessed by the public near Upper Landing Park behind the Children's Museum on the Poughkeepsie Waterfront.
