Do you love The Band? Then clear your calendars for Aug. 19 - 23. Music Masters Camps and The Weight will once again present Camp Cripple Creek, a celebration of the music and history of The Band at The Full Moon Resort in Big Indian, N.Y. Aug. 19 - 23.

The Band was and is one of the most popular and influential rock groups in the history of rock and roll. Camp Cripple Creek celebrates them with concerts, performances, interactive workshops, teaching clinics on both music and history, talks from industry professionals who were close to The Band, and plenty of on-stage jamming with the attendees, open jam rooms with equipment provided, open mics and song-circles around the campfires, and a whole lot more.

The camp is hosted by the  Woodstock-based touring group The Weight, featuring Jim Weider and Randy Ciarlante from The Band, Brian Mitchell of the Levon Helm Band, Marty Grebb, who worked with Rick Danko and Richard Manuel of The Band, and Albert Rogers who has shared the stage with Levon Helm and Garth Hudson.  Special guests this year include Paul Barrere, Fred Tackett, and Kenny Gradney from Little Feat, and alo Brewer and Shipley.

It's a musician's dream come true. Want to know more about this year's Camp Cripple Creek? Visit their website at https://www.campcripplecreek.com/.
