WEATHER: Chance For Wintery Weather, More Cold on the Way
Sunday was cloudy and rather cold, and if you like it like this then you're in luck. The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for most of the area until Noon Monday. There is a chance for freezing rain mixing with snow, especially in areas north and west of the Hudson Valley tonight and Monday.
Highs Monday will be in the upper 30s, with a chance for rain especially ealry in the day. Monday night will stay in the 30s with a chance for rain, freezing rain, and wet snow continuing. Highs Tuesday will be in the low 40s, with a chance for rain and maybe snow in the higher elevations of the Catskills.
Wednesday and Thursday will be partly cloudy with highs in the 40s and lows in the 30s. Friday will be the warmest day of the week with highs in the low 50s and and increased chance for rain.
