Before we could taste a giant chocolate turkey we had to break it apart, so we decided to use a huge Darth Vader doll.

The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park gave us an incredible chocolate turkey made from gourmet chocolate. The candy was painstakingly painted with colored chocolate and brushed with powder to make it shine.

It looked just to beautiful to crack open and eat. But we did it anyway.

After spending a half hour trying to decide how to cut it open we thought it might be more fun to just smash it open. But we couldn't agree what to hit it with.

After suggestions ranging from a giant pot to a stapler to our water cooler we finally decided to use the huge Darth Vader in my office.

Unfortunately, it looks like Darth didn't survive the hit.

There is some good news, though. The chocolate turkey was absolutely delicious.
