Monday, Jan. 21 is Martin Luther King Day, and this year instead of sleeping in, why not do something that would make MLK proud? If you're in the Newburgh area, I know just the thing.

Join Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Newburgh Area on Mon. Jan. 21 from 8 am - 12:30 pm for a day of service in honor or Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Everyone age 16 and older are welcome to volunteer. There will be tasks for all experience levels. Do you have younger kids? There will also be activities for kids ages 8-15 available. The day of work will be followed by a complimentary lunch for all participants at Calvary Presbyterian Church in Newburgh.

If you'd like to be a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, register online, and meet up with your crew leader at the house that morning. To find out more about Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh, visit their website.
