Two teenagers from Kingston are accused of using a handgun to steal a mountain bike and money.

Early Friday morning Kingston Police received a call about a robbery near Wilbur Avenue and Greenkill Avenue. The victim told police that a handgun was displayed by two men who then allegedly took a mountain bike and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Kingston Police began an investigation and identified two suspects. Several pieces of evidence, including the stolen mountain bike were recovered while arresting the suspects.

Joseph Nusbaum, 19, and an 18-year-old unnamed male, both from Kingston were charged with 1st-degree robbery, a felony. Both were arraigned in Kingston City Court.

Nusbaum was released on $5,000 bail. The 18-year-old was remanded to Ulster County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond.
