With Twisted Sister firmly behind him, Dee Snider is looking toward his next solo record, For the Love of Metal. The singer has been teasing fans with new music snippets while he was recording in the studio with Hatebreed's Jamey Jasta overseeing the production and now the first song, "Tomorrow's No Concern," has arrived.

There's nothing nostalgic about the track as a punchy modern production energizes angular and chugging guitar passages, firmly planting the 63-year-old icon in metal's present landscape. Snider's boundless enthusiasm and aggression is intact with a fiery vocal performance as concert posters of legendary lineups, magazine covers and patches on denim jackets take a look back at everything the singer is leaving behind in the video clip.

"'Tomorrow's No Concern' is the perfect first single off of my new album For the Love of Metal. Lyrically it's about me living for today, not in the past. So many people waste their lives away remembering the 'glory days,'" Snider assesses. "While I am proud of all that I've done, I'm more interested and excited about what is happening now. In the song I urge the listener to do the same; live in the moment and don't let the past - good, bad or indifferent - or what might or might not happen in the future ever slow you down!"

For the Love of Metal is set for a July 27 release through Napalm Records and pre-orders for the album can be placed at the label's webstore. The album contributions appearances from former Killswitch Engage and current Light the Torch singer Howard JonesLamb of God guitarist Mark MortonArch Enemy vocalist Alissa White-GluzToxic Holocaust's vocalist, guitarist and bassist Joel Grind and drummer Nick Bellmore and Kingdom of Sorrow guitarist and bassist Charlie Bellmore.
