A local chocolatier is making amazing chocolates, even a chocolate champagne bottle.

Krause's Chocolates has gone viral for the crazy chocolate molds they make. Specifically, a chocolate champagne bottle. With almost 800,000 views on Facebook, this Ulster County chocolatier is getting even more famous.

The chocolate champagne bottle is made by melting down chocolate and pouring it into a mold. Then, the mold is placed on a vibrating table to get all the air bubbles out. The two halves of the mold are then folded and clipped together and placed in a cooling tunnel. Once cooled, the chocolatiers shave off the excess chocolate from the mold and it is topped with a 'champagne label' and foil cover for the 'cork'. The finished product is 10.5 inches tall and weighs 1.5 pounds.

Krause's said in the viral video that the bottles can be customized for weddings or gifts.

Krause's has been around since 1929. They've been consistently voted the best candy shop/chocolates in the region. They have stores in Saugerties, New Paltz, and Rhinebeck.
