The results are in, and these Hudson Valley pets have the very best Halloween costumes of 2018.

The Boris and Robyn Show on 101.5 WPDH hosted the fourth annual Pet Halloween Costume Contest on Saturday. Despite cold and wet weather, pet owners flocked to Petco on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie with their costumed companions in tow.

Boris, Roybn and a representative from Pets Alive sat at the judging table while the dressed up pets paraded across the Petco showroom floor. Animals decked out as characters from movies and tv, hilarious occupations and four-legged food items stole the show.

Here are some of the more outrageous costumes that came through the door on Saturday.

Petco and Earth Angels Veterinary Hospital both supported the event to help raise funds and awareness for Pets Alive, a no-kill animal sanctuary in Orange County. The winners of the contest were officially announced on the Boris and Robyn Show on Monday morning.

Ryan Roosa and his Husky, Nala, won 3rd prize for their family's portrayal of the movie "Up."
