Easter Sunday is less than a week away, and they'll be celebrating a bit early in Washingtonville. This Saturday, March 31, you can be part of the 2nd Annual Easter Bonnet Parade.

The parade kicks off at L Vern Allen Park in Washingtonville at 11 am. You'll get to  enjoy a traditional Easter egg hunt, music, treats, crafts, local vendors, and pictures with the Easter Bunny. Get creative with your Easter bonnet and you will have a chance to win prizes for the most original bonnet and the biggest bonnet. The creative bonnet contest is for children and adults alike. It's a day that the whole family can enjoy, and it's right in the heart of Orange County.

We are all hoping for a rain and snow free weekend, but if that happens the rain date for the 2nd Annual Washingtonville Easter Bonnet Parade is Easter Sunday, April 1. For more information, visit their facebook page.
