The Beehive Queen Friday at Daryl’s House

I must admit I'm a little embarrassed that I haven't been to Daryl's House Club yet.  The club was opened a while back by musician Daryl Hall from Hall and Oates.  It's where the  Towne Crier used to be in Pawling.  And I hear it's great!  They've got good food and some really cool acts.  One of those cool acts will be there this Friday night, and I'm finally going to check it out.

I had heard of Christine Ohlman, and I'd even seen her on tv as part of the Saturday Night Live Band.  I got to meet her a few years ago at a party.  I was a little intimidated...she was super talented, had platinum blonde hair piled high on her head, leopard print pants, sunglasses, and an air of coolness about her.  I though she might be "too good" for me.  But she was really nice and gracious...and as I already mentioned, super talented.

So, I'm really excited about Friday night.  I get to see what Daryl's House is all about.  And I get to watch an incredible show.  Maybe I'll see you there...
