Paint Your Pet With Pets Alive
Paint your pet? Sounds risky. Don't worry, you don't have to change the color of his fur, we're talking about painting a portrait of your pet.
Paint Your Pet is an all inclusive painting lesson held under the big tent at Pets Alive, 363 Derby Road in Middletown, from 2 pm - 6 pm on Saturday, June 8. Maryanne Rappaport of Paint-Ur-Pet will guide you through this fun afternoon. Wondering how you'll get your pet to sit for a portrait? No worries. You supply an image of your pet or pets and there will be a sketched canvas waiting for you at the event.
Pictures of your pets or subject must reach Maryanne by June 1, 2019. Pets not cooperating for one photo? No problem. Maryanne can combine up to four photos on to one canvas. Can’t attend? Or want or need more than one painting? You can also order DIY Home Kits. DIY Kits must be picked up from Pets Alive in Middletown, they will be available the day of the event and after the event.
65% of the proceeds goes to the animals at Pets Alive. Registration closes June 1, 2019 or when all spots are filled. For more information and prices, visit the event facebook page.
