You might think that with all that's going on these days it's probably not a good time to adopt an animal. Actually, it's the perfect time to adopt. If you're looking for a new best friend, check out the adorable animals up for adoption at Hudson Valley Animal Rescue and Sanctuary in Poughkeepsie.
You don't even have to leave safety of your home to see the animals. All you have to do is go to the Hudson Valley Animal Rescue and Sanctuary facebook page. They've been posting pictures of the animals up for adoption, and when you one that you feel a connection to you can fill out an online application. There are dogs, cats, even guinea pigs. Nothing is quite as strong as the bond between a person and their pet, and right now we need them as much as they need us.
It seems that a lot of people are having a hard time finding things to smile about. Head to the Hudson Valley Animal Rescue and Sanctuary facebook page, and it's sure to bring a smile. And maybe a new best friend.
