Major League Baseball Uniform Company Now Makes Medical Masks
As we continue to hear about the dire shortage of supplies that a lot of hospitals are facing, there is help on the way.
We've heard the stories how some companies have gotten creative over the past few weeks when it comes to producing supplies such as hand sanitizer or ventilators. Now, a well known Pennsylvania uniform manufacturer wants to make masks and gowns
Fanatics, out of Easton, is the company that makes uniforms for Major League Baseball. Well, since there's no baseball, they need to something put together. NBC reports that Fanatics is instead using their resources to make masks and gowns for hospitals in New York, Pennsylvania and other nearby states.
The move in production started Tuesday, and Fanatics executive Michael Rubin hopes to make at least 15,000 gowns and masks a day.
