Our Hudson Valley veterans have earned their benefits, but accessing them can be complicated and confusing. Luckily, there's some help.

The Advocate Health Advisor's Veteran's Initiative Program can assist veterans in navigating military and Medicare benefits to make sure they receive everything they've worked so hard for. There are many veterans who may not even be aware that they're eligible to receive benefits for vision, dental, hearing aids, gym memberships, transportation, and more.

According to Colonel Cullen Wright, veterans and eligible spouses can sort through all of the clutter by attending a free information session. Attendees will be presented with a tremendous amount of information from fellow veterans who have spent time understanding how all of the available military benefits interact with medicare. They'll help you put the puzzle pieces together so you can maximize the benefits from four different programs that veterans may be eligible for.
