Hudson Valley Veterans to Receive Help Navigating Benefits
Our Hudson Valley veterans have earned their benefits, but accessing them can be complicated and confusing. Luckily, there's some help.
The Advocate Health Advisor's Veteran's Initiative Program can assist veterans in navigating military and Medicare benefits to make sure they receive everything they've worked so hard for. There are many veterans who may not even be aware that they're eligible to receive benefits for vision, dental, hearing aids, gym memberships, transportation, and more.
According to Colonel Cullen Wright, veterans and eligible spouses can sort through all of the clutter by attending a free information session. Attendees will be presented with a tremendous amount of information from fellow veterans who have spent time understanding how all of the available military benefits interact with medicare. They'll help you put the puzzle pieces together so you can maximize the benefits from four different programs that veterans may be eligible for.
Kelly Buell from Golden Solutions will be hosting two free informational seminars in the Hudson Valley on Tuesday, March 21. The first event will be at American Legion Post 1219 on Springtown Road in Tillson starting at 11am. The second will be held later in the day at the American Legion Post 203 on Main Street in Beacon starting at 3pm. Veterans and eligible spouses can show up to the event or pre-register by calling Kelly Buell at 518 429-1030.
Making decisions about your benefits is so important, that's why it's vital to have all of the information that's available. To find out more about these seminars you can visit goldensolutionsny.com.
