The New York Giants pulled off a 17-6 win over the Detroit Lions at MetLife Stadium Sunday afternoon.

The defense was once again the big factor in the Giants.

Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. helped seal the win with another one of his incredible one handed catches for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter.

The Giants were able to get off to a good offensive start, though they started to show signs of slowing down in the second half. Beckham Jr. seemed to be the one offensive highlight late in the game for Big Blue.

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie was the star on defense as he intercepted Detroit's Matthew Stafford in the end zone near two-minute warning. The Giants did potentially suffer a big defensive set back as Janoris Jenkins left the game with a spinal injury.

The win is a very important one. The Giants move to 10-4 on the season, which is their most in six years. They can still catch the Cowboys in the NFC East Division. The Giants are currently the only team in the NFL to beat Dallas all season.
