After their doors were locked by the state, the local comic book and gaming shop has reopened.

As we reported two weeks ago, the Dragon's Den in the Poughkeepsie Plaza Mall was seized by the government for unpaid taxes. Owner David Steltenkamp told customers through social media that he was working with the government to repay the taxes and get the store back up and running after Easter.

The Dragon's Den reopened at 4:30 on Friday afternoon to celebrate International Tabeltop Day. The day was established to promote dice and other role playing card games.

According to a post on the Dragon's Den's official Facebook page, the store's reopening isn't temporary. When asked if the store would stay open the response was "We're back for good!"

The Dragon's Den will also host events this upcoming weekend for Free Comic Book Day on March 6. Special sales and free issues of comic books will be available throughout the day.
