We're going through one of the hottest summers in recent memory here in the Hudson Valley and northeast, and it looks like it'll stay that for a while.

The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for the Hudson Valley in effect Monday at 12:00 p.m. through 8 p.m. Temperatures are expected to climb back to the low 90s, with uncomfortable humidly, making it feel even hotter.

Lows will only go down to about 70, so it won't really cool off even at night.

The heat wave should last through Tuesday, as we'll see a chance of thunderstorms by the afternoon. Highs will once agin reach around 90 with high humidity and hazy skies.

The break will finally come Wednesday as temperatures will reach into the low 80s with much less humidity.

Limit your time outdoors if you can, and drink plenty of water!
