Pink Floyd released their eighth studio album The Dark Side of the Moon in March of 1973 on Harvest Records. The album was an immediate commercial success, topping the charts and remaining on the charts for a staggering 741 weeks from 1973-1988. It would go on to sell 45 million copies worldwide becoming Pink Floyd's biggest release ever. It is also one of the best-selling albums of all time featuring the singles "Money" and "Us and Them". Critics have also ranked it as one of the greatest albums of all time.
